Privacy Policy for FretMaster
Effective Date: January 8, 2026
Last Updated: June 11, 2026
BodyCrush ("we," "us," or "our") operates the FretMaster mobile application. This SERVICE is provided by BodyCrush and is intended for use as is.
This page informs visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
1. Overview
We prioritize your privacy. FretMaster does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email, or phone number. We do not track your location, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data. The limited usage statistics we collect (see section 2.3) are anonymous and cannot be linked to you.
2. Information Collection and Use
We generally do not collect personally identifiable information (PII). The data we process is strictly limited to:
2.1 Payments & Premium Features
The app offers a "Premium" version as a one-time in-app purchase.
Financial Data: We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers, bank account details, or billing address.
Transaction Handling: All financial transactions are processed exclusively by the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) in accordance with their own privacy policies. We only receive a digital receipt (token) to verify that the purchase was successful so we can unlock the features.
2.2 Third-Party Services (Firebase Crashlytics)
We use Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to improve app stability. If the app crashes, it collects a report that may include:
Installation UUID: A random number generated upon installation.
Device Information: Model, OS version, and battery state.
Crash Trace: The specific code that caused the crash.
This data is used only for fixing bugs. It is not used for advertising.
2.3 Usage Analytics (TelemetryDeck)
We collect a small set of anonymous usage statistics so we can understand which training features help players and improve the app: app opens, training sessions started and completed (mode, duration, score), when the upgrade screen is shown, and completed purchases.
This data is anonymous. It is associated with a random identifier created on your device the first time you launch FretMaster — not with your name, email address, device identifier, or any advertising ID. We do not collect your location, contacts, or any content you create, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in the European Union, to process these statistics. TelemetryDeck further anonymizes incoming data and stores only aggregated information. Because the data cannot be linked back to you, it is not "personal data" under GDPR; nevertheless, we honor deletion requests — contact us at the address below. This data is used only to improve the app. It is not used for advertising.

3. Log Data
In the case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This may include your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
4. Children's Privacy
Our Services are designed for All Ages.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We do not allow behavioral tracking or targeted advertising in the app.
The technical data collected by Firebase Crashlytics and the anonymous usage statistics processed by TelemetryDeck are for "internal operations" (support, stability, and app improvement) and are permissible under COPPA and GDPR-K without requiring parental consent.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
5. Security
We value your trust. Since we do not store personal or financial data on our own servers, your risk is minimized. All data sent by the app is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
